Foodborne illness attorney Bill Marler taught a class for law students at the University of Washington focused on the importance of client advocacy during the litigation process. He shared details about developing his own practice in the foodborne illness specialty. Students asked questions about the beginning with his career, including his first cases like the E. coli Jack in the Box outbreak in the early 1990s. Bill shared which skills he believes to be most important for young lawyers at the start of their careers.
