Marler Clark was a platinum sponsor which helped allow students to attend this event. When Bill presented, he stated that one of the best ways to ensure the future of food safety is to educate young people, investing in them as stewards of a safe food culture. Additionally, he voiced his belief that food manufacturers can benefit from promoting a food safety culture within industry. Good practices include paying attention to food poisoning outbreaks and implementing changes to prevent these from happening again. "When there is transparency around an outbreak, information is shared and leads to structural changes in industry and legislation," Bill said.
