Intermountain Institute of Food Technologists Symposium - October 2024

Bill Marler traveled to Sun Valley, Idaho, to address the Intermountain IFT Symposium, a food safety conference for food industry professionals. Attendees included various professional food safety professionals, including: quality assurance, product development, operations, ingredient suppliers, service providers (laboratories and sanitation chemicals), and small businesses.

During the conference, Bill spoke to a group of 150 attendees about the regulatory and legal landscape, offering his perspective as a foodborne illness attorney representing those sickened as a result of foodborne outbreaks. He shared what food manufacturers should be aware of and lessons learned from recent foodborne illness outbreaks.
