As a result of the outbreak, Interstate Meats recalled approximately 41,300 lbs. of ground beef products for potential E. coli O157:H7 contamination. The ground beef products were produced between July 19 and July 30, 2007, and were distributed in retail stores in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. The ground beef products had sell-by dates between August 1 and August 11, 2007.
Marler Clark filed two E. coli lawsuits on behalf of victims of the Interstate Meats outbreak, one in Washington and one in Idaho. All claims have been resolved.
