After its investigation into a number of related E. coli O157:H7 cases in October of 2010, the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene warned consumers who were in possession of Baugher’s apple cider to discard the cider due to potential E. coli contamination. Marler Clark represented one person in the Baugher’s apple cider E. coli outbreak. The claim has been successfully resolved.
