At least 117 confirmed and suspected Salmonella cases have been traced to On the Border, a Mexican restaurant in Vancouver, Washington. Salmonella outbreak victims ate at the restaurant between September 20 and October 8, 2012. Of 4 Salmonella patients who had been hospitalized, three had been released.
Health department staff continues its work to determine the exact source of the Salmonella outbreak, and is interviewing both employees and restaurant customers to determine whether the source is a food worker or contaminated food source brought into the restaurant.
Lawsuits filed against On the Border
