Raw Turkey Salmonella Outbreak
On July 19, 2018, the CDC announced an investigation into a Salmonella Reading outbreak linked to raw turkey products. To date, 164 people have been sickened across 35 states, 63 people have been hospitalized, and one death has been reported.
Symptoms of salmonella include:
· Abdominal cramps
· Fever of 100-102 F
· Bloody diarrhea
· Body aches
