The State Public Health Laboratory linked the cases through lab results, case histories and locations, said Gena Terlizzi with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. The farm that produced and sold the milk was eventually identified as the Stroupe Family Farm in Howard County as the source of the raw milk consumed by eight of the individuals with E. coli. Not surprisingly, eight samples from the farm have tested negative for the bacteria, Terlizzi said. The farm voluntarily stopped selling raw dairy products. Marler Clark represented April Williams who needed hospitalization as a result of the E. coli infection.
