Global Crisis Management Summit - September 2023

The Global Crisis Management Summit, held in Ware, England, hosted European professionals responsible for establishing and implementing sound food safety policy. A variety of participants allowed for a wide spectrum of perspectives and strategies for food policies in various countries. Bill Marler, a foodborne illness attorney, joined the former head of the FDA, Frank Yannis and Sterling Crew, to address current and emerging risks in the food safety crisis. From a legal angle, Bill Marler was able to share his views on what has been successful in the United States as well as where there is room for improved public health policy.
